Jepkorir Rose

Jepkorir Rose is a curator based in Nairobi whose work aims to create opportunities/spaces to encounter each other in areas of interest. They are interested in participatory design and space-making related to infrastructural forms enabling circulation of artistic practices. Their work unfolds through collaborations, processes of research and study, exhibition making, gathering, documentation and archiving. Selected work include; munyu. (2024), LOOP(2023), C& Education(2016-24), SoLab (2020/21), A Seat at a Table (2019), Wanakuboeka Feelharmonic (2018), Naijographia: A play on traveling time and place (2017) and 28 words in Maputo(2015). Jepkorir has also participated in the research residency; We are (not) one - Artists, Curators, Institutions and Diversity in Latin America(2016), and Curatorial Intensive (Accra 2017), and Asiko(2015). Jepkorir is a recipient of FfAI research grant (2020) and Prince Claus mentorship AWARD (2023).
