Kirabo Suubi

Public health specialist
Kirabo Suubi is an economist and public health specialist with 13 years of experience. She leads diverse, intersectional research with a gender lens in trans-disciplinary contexts of reproductive and mental health and economic empowerment. Kirabo was the Principal Investigator for ICRW’s work on child sexual abuse prevention in Zanzibar and Uganda and contributed to ICRW’s work on child marriage and women in the informal sector. Kirabo is the country lead for ICRW’s work on Social protection and the African creative sector in Uganda. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Public Health at Umea University, Sweden.
