Royal Kenogo is a self-taught visual artist from Nairobi, Kenya, currently based in Kampala, Uganda. Using photography, film and illustration as primary mediums. Royal’s work seeks to explore and preserve the vibrant narratives within their community, weaving together themes of adventure, mythology, identity, female autonomy, and Kenyan history. With a strong emphasis on storytelling and heritage, Royal aims to create visually compelling worlds that resonate deeply with audiences on both imaginative and introspective levels.
